The Caparol Group (DAW) has opened aproduction and logistics center in Malino, near Moscow/Russia. From its central location the center supplies all regions of Russia. With eight raw material silos, which feed two production lines, 20,000 tons of powder products can be produced annually. The warehouse complex consists of a high-bay warehouse with more than 3,500 pallet places for the company’s complete product range and a warehouse for block-type storage which provides a further 1,500 pallet places for plasters/renders, facade surfacers, adhesives and fillers produced in the factory. The new center cost €14 million and is the largest foreign investment in the company’s history.
